Stop by CMC Central Services to check-in and pick up your dinner ticket for the Glenwood Caverns. You must RSVP through Basecamp by May 4th if you are planning to join us at the Caverns. If you are arriving after 4PM, you may pick up your dinner ticket at the base of the Caverns (gondola) between 4 and 6.

Disclaimer:
Prince Creek and Red Hill are advanced cross-country mountain bike trails. The initial climbs are strenuous and technical. If you ride mountain bikes, expect similar terrain to Moab’s Hymasa/Captain Ahab, Fruita’s Kokopelli/Loma area  and Gunnison’s Hartman Rocks. Please be prepared with a well maintained bike, appropriate attire, helmet, water, a snack and a trail repair kit.

Experience the beauty of Glenwood Canyon and Hanging Lake. Take a shuttle to the Glenwood Canyon Trail and bike at your own pace along the paved bike path. Stop by the Hanging Lake trail for a hike before biking back into town. Fee includes bike helmet, bike lock, handelbar bags and of course the bike! Please note, although the hike to Hanging Lake is just over a mile it is steep and rocky. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring along plenty of water.

Red Mountain Hike Led By Jennifer Mewes

Free (10 person limit)

Garfield County's Red Mountain isn't a very powerful peak but it towers 1600' above Glenwood Springs and provides awesome views of the Roaring Fork Valley. Hikers will be treated to beautiful scenery, a moderate change in elevation, some back-country hiking tips, and a bit of history about the area as we ascend to the Glenwood Springs large cross (and depending on time, the mountain's summit). You will take the Red Mountain Trail up the Eastern slopes following a non-motorized private road. The route will be an 8+ mile round trip so plan on approximately 3 hours of hiking with lots of breaks as needed. Be prepared for all kinds of weather as it is spring in Colorado. Please be sure you have plenty of water and snacks, comfortable clothing and hiking shoes, and sunscreen.

The Art of Life
The world as it is currently constructed can feel tiresome, boring, and depressing. Much of this has to do with the fact that most adults have been cut off from our creative selves. This workshop engages people in artistic exercises to help us find meaning in our day-to-day lives.
